Are you interested in training to be an interpreting assessor?

At Praxis we are committed to the professional development of interpreters and have successfully run EU and charitable-foundation-funded interpreter training programmes in conjunction with City University and SOAS for the past ten years.

Recognising the existing shortage of trained interpreting assessors in many languages, Praxis Interpreting+ has successfully run a pilot training workshop in partnership with the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and the Language Unit of SOAS-UCL. This pilot was launched to develop an accredited interpreter assessor course. Whilst this is in progress, we are also looking to organise a series of two day weekend training workshops.

The dates for these training workshops will be announced in due course but in the meantime, if you are interested in developing your skills in interpreting assessment please complete the form below or email us at interpreting@praxis.org.uk or call on 0207 7297985.
