Praxis Community Projects

Training and Capacity Building

Drawing from our decades-long expertise providing support to migrants at-risk in the UK, Praxis provides second-tier advice and training to front-line workers within agencies like local councils, children centres and homeless centres with the aim to improve the response and services to migrants in London.

The trainings we have provided so far have focused on issues as working with undocumented migrants, No Recourse to Public Funds, overviews of current immigration status, EU citizens and right to reside, among many others. Training format and content can be tailored according to requests.

Praxis is part of a growing number of fora and network, such as NACCOM, St. Martins-in-the-Field Frontline Network, FEANTSA and The Housing and Immigration Group. Our role within this network is to improve the general response to homeless migrants, share expertise and to learn from best practices of other members.
