Securing Rights
Harsh, complex, and discriminatory immigration policies have left a growing number of people with immigration issues and cut off from basic services. Prohibited from working and unable to access the welfare safety net in a crisis, many face homelessness and destitution.
This has only worsened with the cost-of-living crisis and recent cruel anti-migrant Bills wreaking havoc on the immigration system. Sadly, it is estimated over 40,000 people who are most impacted by the cost of living crisis will potentially go without the advice and assistance they need.
More and more people are unable to access free, high quality immigration advice and Praxis is the only free resource available. We provide expert advice helping people to navigate the complexities of immigration law and safeguard their future.

Our Work
Finding housing, health care, housing and legal support can be hard when you arrive in a new country. That’s why Praxis has a team of advisers and solicitors who support migrants and refugees. We help those who are survivors of abuse or who have fallen through the cracks.
When the government and public services won’t help or are hard to access, we step in - thanks to the support of thousands across the country.
Our Reach
We provide legal advice at our east London base, as well as in partnership with hospitals, local authorities, and homeless organisations. We work in collaboration with other charities and service providers to make sure that if we are unable to support someone, we are able to refer them to an organisation that can.
We currently manage a number of projects designed to support and meet the needs of diverse groups of people who have moved to the UK.
