Moving into work
Who is it for?

Moving into work is for refugees and new migrants who are out of work and live in Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham or Havering.

What can we offer?

The programme guides participants through the process of preparing to find a job by providing essential support, skills and training needed to enter employment.

Moving into Work involves one to one mentoring from dedicated Project Workers and group training from professional and qualified trainers covering a variety of subjects including:

• IT skills
• English language skills
• CV writing skills
• Interview techniques
• Job search techniques

Participants will create a flexible and personalised development plan to guide them through this process.
The support you receive can last from 2 weeks to 10 months with all services provided for FREE. Where possible, work trials will also be available for some participants. On-going support to find a job and aftercare will also be provided by our partner, Working Links.

Working Links works closely with employers, providers and many other organisations to find the job that matches your skills and experience.
