What is Reach Out?
A project aimed at promoting and delivering free Information,Advice & Guidance training (NVQ) on education,employment and general
issues amongst faith and women’s organisations in East London.
The training will provide your organisation with Information, Advice & Guidance skills and general knowledge about subjects relevant to migrant
and refugee communities.The training will run free of charge from April in 2008 and 2009. After completion students will be awarded an NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification in Advice & Guidance.
During this time we will also run an ESOL course for your service users.
We are currently recruiting candidates for our new round of level 2 and 3 NVQs in Advice & Guidance. In order to qualify for the training you should be working or volunteering with an organisation with a faith ethos. This is a great opportunity for both employees and organisations to improve their level of skills and access new networks. At present we are targeting East London, covering NE and SE boroughs.
Courses are completely free and will be starting in April 2009 (deadline for applications is 13/03/09).
