Housing Coordinator

Praxis is seeking a dynamic and well-organised Housing Coordinator to join our team and coordinate the delivery of the programme. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of an award-winning housing project providing a home to destitute migrant individuals and families with No Recourse to Public Funds.

The ideal candidate

You will have an acute understanding of the issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. You will have to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders with the ability to facilitate meaningful participation and peer support. Bespoke packages of support will be offered to residents, including risk management plans where required.

The Housing Coordinator will be responsible for service delivery including managing referrals. You will be required to have strong administration skills to ensure the project continues to be managed to a high standard, including housing management duties in line with HMO Regulations. A commitment to learning is essential as the project is subject to Action Learning evaluation.

Interpreting Administrator (Bank Cover)

We are looking to recruit a team of people who will form a bank of Cover Interpreting Administrators to cover the holidays and sick leave of the full-time Interpreting Administrator.

The role involves administering the booking and allocation of the interpreting service and providing front line support to interpreters and customers seeking our service.

The role will be suitable for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
