Celebrating the launch of Brighter Zine

On 2nd May Brighter Futures, a group of young migrants fighting for change, launched their beautiful new zine - Brighter Zine. Through the creation of this zine, Brighter Futures reflected on their shared and individual experiences of wellbeing.

“There was a lot of positive vibes throughout the project –we’re talking about joy and gratitude, not about issues. For a moment you feel your problems are gone.” Brighter Futures member

The evening was full of love and laughter with poetry, singing and crafts. In today’s context of extreme hostility towards migrants and refugees, joy is truly a radical act.
