The passage of the Nationality and Borders Bill into law on 26th April 2022 was a major blow for all those who had been fighting so hard for more than 9 months to block it. That’s why, on 18th May 2022, Praxis convened a panel discussion at our Annual General Meeting to talk about avenues for resistance, now that the Bill is law.

This one-day online conference will provide an overview of the current picture of migrant homelessness in England, including the effects of Covid-19 and Brexit. It will showcase good practice by services and commissioners and share expertise from specialist migrant organisations and people with lived experience. It will offer practical advice and challenge on how the homelessness and migration sectors can better work together to achieve our shared goals.
