Our strategy, values & impact

Anti-Racist Approach:

As a human rights organisation Praxis has a long history of challenging racism and discrimination and, following an organisational learning programme in 2020, we have challenged ourselves to systematically examine our obligations and behaviours to ensure that we have an anti-racist approach across all our work. As part of this we developed new values which are being embedded throughout the organisation.

The landscape around Brexit is constantly changing and it can be hard to keep up to date with it. We have published a briefing outlining what are the next steps to take to make sure that EU citizens in the UK - in particular those facing homelessness and destitution - can maintain their rights. Housing Destitute Migrants: evaluation report 2015-2018

Since 2015 Praxis has been running a housing demonstration project housing migrant families and women. Through this project - delivered in collaboration with Commonweal Housing - we have provided our residents with thousands of nights of accommodation, high-quality immigration advice and access to our peer support groups. A final evaluation report has recently been published, highlighting the merits of the project and the great impact it has had on the families and individuals who received our holistic support.
