Migrant Mothers’ Empowering Lullabies
Members of the group for mothers WINGS worked with Irene Taylor Trust and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to put down in words and music messages for their children, to carry with themselves for the rest of their lives.
A Migrant’s Covid Journal
Using creativity as a tool to challenge negative perception of migrants in the UK, this collection is the summation of a series of workshops focussing on the impact of COVID19 on the world from a young migrants’ perspective, and how the world needs to change for the better.

When Covid19 hit, Jeremiha lost his job and only source of income. For months he had to rely on charities to feed their children, often going hungry while debt was mounting, because of unfair immigration policies.

We must work together to combat racism and discrimination
We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement, and the fight against racism. This must end. We must learn. We must listen. And we must work together to combat racism and discrimination.

To protect our staff and service users from Covid-19 we have, with regret, taken the decision to temporarily suspend our usual group activities as well as drop-in advice session on a Thursday and to close our doors to drop-in service users.

Praxis’ group for women and their children WINGS just published their first poetry collection, a project started as a creative writing workshop. From there, the authors gained inspiration through a new language found within themselves.
For the people who see a piece of paper where I only see gold
We decided to host Words Apart, a public event to challenge the narrow rhetoric on us young migrants, to make sure that as many people as possible could understand our situation, and hear from our own voices that we are phenomenal.
