New research by Praxis finds only 3 out of 20 victims of the Windrush scandal surveyed have received compensation. We continue to receive ‘Windrush’ referrals from homelessness services - people who are struggling to prove their rights to basic services, let alone compensation.

We welcome the Government’s new strategy on ending rough sleeping, but it fails to take sufficient account of the role of Home Office policies in driving homelessness, effectively ignoring the areas in which action is most needed to prevent rough sleeping amongst non-UK nationals from happening in the first place.
