Payroll Giving

Give as you earn! Payroll Giving is easy to set up, automatic, and tax-free. This means your donation can go further fighting for migrant rights.

How does it work?

Praxis is registered with the Payroll Giving Agency, Giveall. Giveall is an HMRC approved Payroll Giving platform and pass on 100% of your payroll giving donation to us.

When you set up payroll giving, your employer gives money from your salary directly to Praxis, before it’s taxed. This means you’re making your donation go further, as any tax you would have paid on your donation goes to us. And it doesn’t cost you a penny more! For example, if you are a 20% tax-payer and set up a donation of £10 to Praxis from your monthly salary, it is taken from your gross salary meaning that you only drop by £8 in your net salary but Praxis will receive £10. Not only that, in these days where regular funds are vital to help us continue the work we do here at Praxis, we can have access to the funds quickly.

How do I set it up?

If you are a business owner or part of an HR team and don’t know much about Payroll Giving but would like to add this to your employee benefits package, then please do send us an email (fundraising@praxis.org.uk) and we will arrange for Giveall to call you and help you set up a scheme and share ideas on how to promote it to your employees. Many employers are now adding payroll giving to their existing benefits package as it demonstrates their CSR commitment to support good causes.

If you are an employee and would like to support us in this way, then why not speak to your HR team and ask them to contact us or Giveall (CustomerServices@giveall.org) or if you prefer, send us your details and your employer’s contact details and we can ask Giveall to speak to them on your behalf.

Why set up Payroll Giving to Praxis?

Facing hateful rhetoric from politicians, relentless hostile policies, and an extortionate legal maze, it is truly a difficult time to be a migrant in the UK. Your monthly donation could fund expert legal advice to secure someone’s rights, community support for someone navigating hostile immigration policies, bold campaigns calling for systemic change and so much more. We work in solidarity with communities and allies so that all people who have migrated to the UK live safely, free from poverty, discrimination, and exclusion, and be treated with compassion and respect. When you sign up for payroll giving, you’ll be part of that fairer future.
